Snom PA1+ SIP Paging Amplifier
The Snom PA1+ is the lowest-cost way to add overhead paging to a VoIP phone system. It registers with your PBX as a SIP extension and auto-answers, so a page goes straight to the speaker. A built-in 6.5 W amplifier can drive a speaker on its own, and a line output feeds a larger PA amplifier when you need more coverage.
Relay contacts on the PA1+ can be triggered over SIP or DTMF, which is useful for opening a gate or door strike. A second Gigabit port passes the network through to another device. It runs on PoE. The speaker isn't included.

Frequently asked questions
Does the Snom PA1+ include a speaker?
No. Snom's datasheet notes the loudspeaker isn't included. The PA1+ drives an external speaker from its 6.5 W amplifier, or feeds a larger PA system from its line out.
How is the PA1+ powered?
The PA1+ runs on PoE (802.3af Class 3). If PoE isn't available, it uses a 5 V Snom power adapter, sold separately.
