Algo 8180 SIP Audio Alerter (G2)
Algo 8180 SIP Audio Alerter (G2)
The Algo 8180 is a small wall-mount SIP speaker for paging, loud ringing and emergency alerts. It runs on standard PoE and registers with your PBX as a SIP extension, so it can ring loudly when the main line rings, play a page, or play a recorded alert when someone dials its emergency extension.
It's rated for dry indoor locations. A built-in microphone allows two-way talkback, and an 8 Ohm output can drive an external horn (Algo rates it at 120 dBA with its 1186 horn) when the room is too loud for the built-in speaker. For a warehouse floor or outdoors, the Algo 8186 horn is the better fit.

Good to know
- Registers with your phone system as a standard SIP extension, so it works with most on-premise and hosted PBXs.
- Multicast lets one registered device page any number of others on the same network, so only the device that sends the page needs a SIP extension.
- This is the second generation (G2) 8180. The model number didn't change.
