Snom M400 DECT Base Station
The Snom M400 is Snom's current base station for small and mid-sized sites, and the replacement for the discontinued M300. One M400 supports up to 20 handsets. Add a second M400 to make a dual-cell system, which doubles the call capacity and lets handsets hand off between the two bases.
It works with Snom's M-series handsets, including the rugged M85, M80, M70 and the antibacterial M90. For more than two bases, step up to the M900 multicell base.

Good to know
- No power supply in the box. Use a PoE switch or injector.
- Base only. Handsets sold separately.
- The 20-handset limit stays the same in dual cell. The second base adds calls, repeaters and coverage, not handsets.
- The Snom KLE handsets (M10 KLE, M10R KLE) aren't on Snom's M400 compatibility list. They pair with the M100 KLE base.

Frequently asked questions
Does the Snom M85 work with the M400?
Yes. Snom lists the M400 as a compatible base for the M85, along with the M900 and M900 Outdoor.
What replaced the Snom M300?
The M400. Snom ended sales of the M300 in November 2022 and lists the M400 as its successor.
How many handsets does the Snom M400 support?
Up to 20, on one base or across two M400s in a dual cell.
