The Valcom V-9022A-2 is a 2' x 2' lay-in ceiling speaker that drops into a standard ceiling grid in place of a tile. The white perforated grille looks like an air return, the backbox is plenum rated, and there are no support bars to install. It comes two to a box.
This is an analog speaker, not a network device. It doesn't connect to your network or register with the phone system on its own. Each speaker has a built-in 1 W amplifier that runs on Valcom 24 V power and takes a line-level paging signal, typically from a Valcom V-9972.
