Yealink EHS40 Wireless Headset Adapter (EHS Cable)
The Yealink EHS40 is an electronic hook switch (EHS) cable for Jabra, Plantronics and Sennheiser wireless headsets. It plugs into the USB port on a Yealink phone, so you can answer and hang up from the headset instead of walking back to the desk to lift the handset. Incoming calls ring in the headset earpiece.
Yealink lists it for the T44U, T44W, T54W and T58W, and the T73U, T73W, T85W, T88W and T88V Pro datasheets list it too.

Good to know
- Doesn't work with the T31G and T33G, which have no USB port.
- Yealink's own headsets don't need it. The WH62, WH63 E2 and UH34 connect over USB, and Yealink Bluetooth headsets use a BT51 dongle.
- Check your headset maker's list to confirm your model supports an EHS cable.
- For Crosstalk 250 and 270 phones, use the ClearlyIP EHS30 instead.
