Crosstalk 720 PBX Appliance

The Crosstalk 720 is a small, fanless phone system appliance with FreePBX pre-installed. It handles up to 100 extensions and 30 concurrent calls, which covers most small offices, and at 5" x 5" it fits on a shelf next to the router.

The 720 is a pure VoIP appliance with no analog ports. If you need to connect traditional phone lines or a fax machine, add an analog gateway. If you run SIP trunks and IP phones, which most businesses do now, the 720 is all you need.

Which Crosstalk PBX appliance should I get?

The 720 covers up to 100 extensions and 30 concurrent calls. The Crosstalk 741 and 751 are 1U rack units for 200 and 300 extensions. The Crosstalk 760 handles 400 extensions and 100 calls with mirrored SSDs, and the Crosstalk 790 handles 2,000 extensions and 350 calls with dual power supplies.

Do I need a SIP trunk?

Yes. The 720 is a pure VoIP appliance, so calls to the outside world go over a SIP trunk. We resell ClearlyIP SIP Trunking, which integrates tightly with FreePBX.

Can I connect analog phone lines or a fax machine?

Not directly. The 720 has no analog ports, so add an analog gateway for phone lines or fax.

Warranty and support
