Valcom V-9972 Universal Paging Interface
The Valcom V-9972 Universal Paging Interface connects a phone system to Valcom paging. It accepts a SIP registration from your PBX, or an analog FXS or FXO line, and sends the page out to Valcom one-way amplified speakers, a Valcom zone controller or talkback page units.
One V-9972 can drive up to 150 Valcom one-way amplified speakers, like the V-1030C horn and V-9022A-2 ceiling speaker. It has a background music input that mutes during pages, a pre-page tone and a feedback eliminator.
It doesn't include a power supply. Valcom recommends the VP-624D, and the speakers need their own 24 V power as well.

Good to know
- Registers with your phone system as a standard SIP extension, so it works with most on-premise and hosted PBXs.
- No PoE. It needs a 24 VDC supply, sold separately.
- This is the base model. Multiple SIP lines and enhanced Night Ring need the V-9972-2 license.
